Lou
| 1 review |

Located in an unassuming strip all off of Vine Street, Lou is that rare kind of Hollywood eatery – disarmingly unpretentious and yet cool. As for the food – the Burratta melted in my mouth, the scallops were buttery perfection, and the Niman flat iron steak was peppered and tender. The wine list features primarily European selections and offers great values. The Cerasuolo di Vittoria by Occhipinti was our favorite for the evening.
The Scene: An eclectic Hollywood hipster crowd lines the booths and bar of Lou. Weekends after 7:30p.m. the line of patrons waiting for a table spills out onto the sidewalk.
Inclusion worthy notes: Sit at the bar and chat up the eponymous Lou.
Reservations: Lou accepts reservations for groups of 6 or more Monday – Thursday. No reservations Friday – Saturday.

Went to Lou last night and loved it…was shocked to see a good crowd on a Tuesday! Bit of a odd location, but once you’re inside eating you forget about Vine outside. Frisee salad appetizer was good, Scallop entree was great. Also did the trio wine tasting, nice way to sample several different wines for a very reasonable price. I will definitely go back since we were told the menu changes often.
