</table>
            </div>

            BottleRock exceeded my expectations. As someone who is just starting to get into wine, BottleRock proved a great jumping point. The main seating area is nothing to harp about. Green stools remind me of a 2nd grade classroom and wine cases litter the entry. But in the back exists an amazing and inviting lounge area fit for big parties.

Service is pretty darn exquisite. WIne orders arrive in a flash, while food orders are fulfilled incredibly quick as well. Another note about the service: the waitress offered up front to split the bill individually for the party (and we had a huge party).

I had two types of wines off the happy hour menu. First was a sparkling wine for $5. It was sweeter than other sparkling white wines I've had, but very good. It was closer to the taste of an apple cider, but not overbearing. The second wine I tried was a red wine from Tuscany. I'm not terribly into the dryness of red wines, but this wine was smooth with little biting aftertaste. Earthy and delicate. The first red wine I've really ever enjoyed.

Foodwise, I ordered the okonomiyaki, which is basically a Japanese omelet. Here, it's served open faced on a Japanese seafood pancake with nori, prosciutto, and a fried egg. All this is upstaged by the dried bonito shavings that make the plate look like its living and breathing. It's a unique presentation that may turn your stomach, but is incredibly delicious.

Very friendly staff, excellent and quick service, delicious food, great wine, and comfortable atmosphere call me back for a return visit. Hopefully very soon.

            This place is definitely chic. Went there for there “rush hour” (happy hour), which is from 4:30-7:00 (or 7:30). This is a perfect place for those who work in downtown for some good wine and cheese. I tried 3 different red wines on their happy hour special. I had a shiraz, tempranillo, and merlot. I preferred the tempranillo. The chefs choice of 3 cheeses was amazing as well as the portions are pretty generous. Great atmosphere, good happy hour what else does one need?
